Larry Johnson, 86

Larry Gene Johnson, 86, was born July 21, 1940, to Devone "Bud" and Marion P. Johnson in Kalispell. He attended Elrod and Central then graduated from Flathead High School in 1958. He worked for the state highway department after getting out of the Army in 1963. He was discharged with E-4 in 1966. Larry then attended trade school in Weiser, Idaho, in the spring of 1966. He transferred from the state highway department to the DNRC from which he retired in 2002. He loved to snow and water ski, bowling, boating and hunting. 

Larry married Ann T. Nelson on February 11, 1980, and inherited two teenage girls. He was a wonderful stepfather to our girls all the years he had with them. Larry is survived by his wife, daughters, grandsons and great-grandson.

A memorial service will be held on Thursday, July 30 in the late afternoon at Family Life Church, 1075 Foys Lake Road, Kalispell. Johnson-Gloschat Funeral Home is caring for the family.
