Patricia Rogers, 72

Patricia Lynn Rogers, 72, passed away Monday, Dec. 8, 2025, in Dewitt, Mich. 

Memorial services will be held at 9:30 a.m. on Friday, July 31, 2026, at Pinecrest Cemetery in Sandpoint.

Patti was born July 4, 1953, in Sandpoint, Idaho, to Frank and Jo Rogers. She graduated from Sandpoint High School in 1971. She received her undergraduate degree from Eastern Washington University, and earned a doctorate from Michigan State University, where she continued to work as a professor.

Patti enjoyed reading and studying history.

She is survived by her sister, Kathy Porter of Henderson, Mich.; a brother, John Rogers of California; and numerous cousins.

She was preceded in death by her parents, father Frank Rogers and mother Joan Rogers.
