Swimmers second in divsionals

The Columbia Falls swim team took a considerably smaller team to divisionals this year than in years past, but still came away with second place. The state qualifying event was hosted by the Cut Bank Sharks over the weekend.

With only 26 swimmers, Columbia Falls had the third largest team. High point earners were Raef Edwards, Hadley Edwards, Ben Opalka, Fjord Borgen in their respective age groups. 

“Every one of our swimmers qualified to compete at state,” coach Kyle Babcock said. “We should be a highly competitive group in Plentywood.”  

The Montana Federation of Swimmers Eastern Division is hosting the state meet this weekend in Plentywood.
