PUBLIC NOTICE FOR DESTRUCTION OF SPECIAL EDUCATION RECORDS    Attention Parents/Guardians, Former Students, Eligible (Adult) Students:  According to school board policy, West Bonner County School District #83 hereby gives notice that special education records are no longer needed to provide educational services to individuals with disabilities who were enrolled in the district as a student for the 2018 school year and have since left the district. The district will destroy these special education records (by shredding them) in 45 days. Destruction of these records is the best protection against improper and unauthorized disclosure.   Please be aware that if you have special education records on file with the school district, these records may be needed for social security benefits or for other purposes in the future. If you wish to review the file or keep the file for your own records, please make the request to the Special Services office within 45 calendar days.  Destruction of these records will begin August 28th, 2026.  To request a copy of your records before August 28th, 2026 please contact:  Tracy Rusho at 208-448-1423  [email protected]  134 Main Street  Priest River, ID 83856  BCDB#8048 AD#52488 July 16, 23, 30, 2026 _________________________

LEGAL NOTICE: SUMMARY OF SOUTHSIDE WATER AND SEWER DISTRICT ORDINANCE NO. 26-01  The Board of Directors of the Southside Water and Sewer District, Bonner County, Idaho, hereby gives notice of its adoption of Ordinance No. 26-01. This ordinance amends, restates, modernizes, and consolidates prior District ordinances governing the water and sewer systems to ensure equitable cost allocation and system protection.   Key Provisions & Summary:  Purpose and Applicability: Establishes a comprehensive framework for the operation, regulation, and maintenance of District water and sewer systems. It applies to all real property within the District boundaries.   Mandatory Connections: Requires all inhabited buildings within 200 feet of the sewer collection system to connect to it. Water service connections remain optional.   Service Standards & Responsibilities: Defines individual connection requirements. Property owners are explicitly responsible for maintaining service lines on their properties.  System Expansion & Developer Costs: Prohibits the subsidization of new development by existing customers. Developers must bear expansion costs and enter into a formal Construction Improvement Agreement (CIA).   Sewer Use Restrictions: Prohibits discharging damaging substances into the sewer system. Violators face enforcement and full remediation costs.   Billing and Delinquency: Outlines billing components. Payments are due by the 20th of each month; accounts unpaid after 30 days are deemed delinquent and may be certified to the Bonner County tax roll annually.   Hook-Up Fees & Regulations: Governs Equivalent Residence Unit (ERU) determinations and the rules regarding the transfer or voluntary relinquishment of hook-ups.   Authority & Right of Entry: Grants authorized District representatives the power to enter properties for testing, inspections, and meter readings. Provides protocols for obtaining administrative search warrants or disconnecting service if entry is refused.   Repealer and Severability: Repeals conflicting prior ordinances (including Ord. No. 08-01 and Ord. No. 02-01) and ensures that if any part of this ordinance is found invalid, the remainder remains in effect.   Effective Date: This Ordinance shall be in full force and effect immediately upon its publication in summary form in the Bonner County Daily Bee.   The full text of Ordinance No. 26-01 is available for public inspection at the Southside Water and Sewer District office, 102 S.
