Port Polson Players: America on the Move – 2 p.m. Aug. 2 at the Theatre on the Lake in Polson; a glittering cast highlights this star-spangled collection of individuals and events in American history and the music that accompanied them. Flathead Lake Biological Station open house — 11 a.m. Aug. 7 at the Flathead Bio Station; join the bio station for the last open house with director Jim Elser. This is a family-friendly event that highlights the research, monitoring and education programs at the bio station.
Flathead Waters Cleanup – 9 a.m.-6 p.m. Aug. 8 on local streams, ponds, wetlands, rivers and lakes; this Flathead Basin-wide event brings together agencies, organizations and community members in an all-day volunteer effort to clean up trash and celebrate the region’s waterways.
