'Music Bridges Borders' returns to the JACC for free concert

POST FALLS — The Jacklin Arts & Cultural Center will once again open its doors to Music Bridges Borders, welcoming the organization back for the seventh consecutive year with a free family concert at 6 p.m. Friday.
Music Bridges Borders brings talented young musicians from orchestras in Baja North, Mexico, to the Pacific Northwest for a summer of cultural exchange and performance. Audiences at the JACC will have the opportunity to enjoy an evening of live music performed by these gifted student musicians, ranging from strings and winds to percussion.
The concert is free and open to the public, with light refreshments served.
"We're honored to host Music Bridges Borders for the seventh year in a row," said Darla Dreyer, executive director of the JACC. "This concert has become a beloved summer tradition, and it's a wonderful example of how music can connect communities across borders."
