Upcoming events at the Pearl

The Pearl Theater has always been the venue to see concerts and plays in Bonners Ferry, but the theater is constantly expanding its programming to include a wider variety of events. Events offered at the Pearl now include groups, workshops, a drum circle, karaoke, and much more.   

Friday, July 31 — Performers Circle, 5:30 p.m.    

Performers Circle is the Pearl's longest-running event. Attendees are encouraged to bring a song or spoken word to the circle or to come and enjoy a night of artistic collaboration. This is a free event. 

Friday, August 7 — 18-plus Karaoke, 7 p.m.  

Karaoke for ages 18 and above. This is a free event. Beer and cocktails will be available for purchase. 

Wednesday, August 12 — 18-plus Free Dance Night, 6 p.m.   

Enjoy a free, no-host evening of line dancing and partner dancing with a fun playlist for all skill levels. Doors open at 6 p.m., with music starting at 6:30 p.m. Enter to win free dance lesson tickets from Walk the Line Dance Events. The café will be open serving food and drinks. All ages are welcome. 

Thursday, August 20 — Book Talk, 6-8 p.m.     

No assigned reading. Come and chat about books. Light refreshments and wine served. Books are available for sharing. 

Built in 1894, the Pearl Theater was originally the first Catholic church in Bonners Ferry. The historic building is now a theater that is home to a variety of performances, arts and other events, in the community.            

The Pearl Theater, Inc. is a nonprofit 501(c)3 organization founded in 2012 with the goal of providing quality performing arts in an intimate historic downtown art house. The Pearl Theater’s objective as a nonprofit is to foster and develop the artistic talents and skills of community members of all ages, to serve as an outreach to encourage and facilitate social activities, and to nurture excellence in the performing arts through the presentation of performing artists from the local area as well as national and international arenas.          

The theater is available for rent for personal and public events.  

The Pearl Theater is located at 7160 Ash St in Bonners Ferry.
