The Polson Chamber of Commerce and Polson School District host the Polson Community Block Party on Thursday, Aug. 20, from 5-8 p.m. in the field behind Linderman Gym.
The free event brings together local businesses, nonprofit organizations, first responders, families and community members for an evening of activities, food, entertainment and community connection.
Families can enjoy children’s games and activities, food vendors, booths representing local businesses and nonprofit organizations, giveaways and opportunities to meet local first responders.
“The Block Party is about bringing the entire community together,” said organizer Brady Phenicie. “It gives families a fun evening out while helping residents connect with local businesses, schools, first responders and community organizations.”
The Polson Chamber and Polson School District are currently accepting vendor registrations from local businesses, nonprofit organizations, food vendors and food trucks, community groups and first responder agencies. There is no vendor fee to participate.
Each participating vendor is encouraged to provide a children’s activity, game, demonstration or giveaway to help create a fun, carnival-style experience for families.
