The Malicious Monster Truck Tour, billed as the loudest, wildest, most adrenaline-pumping show on wheels, is happening 5 p.m. Saturday and noon on Sunday at the MODE Stadium Speedway in Post Falls.
Prepare yourself for an action-packed event of roaring engines, jaw-dropping stunts and massive monster trucks that will leave you on the edge of your seat. Expect to see:

Tickets for the Malicious Monster Truck Tour are available at statelinespeedwayticketgoat.com. General admission tickets for adults (18+) are $18.56 after tax and fees and $10.92 for children ages 7 to 11. Reserved adult tickets are $24.02 and $16.38 for children. Discounts are available for students, seniors and military.
National Night Out, sponsored by the Kootenai County Sheriff's Office, is taking place Aug. 4 from 4 to 9 p.m. at the Kootenai County Fairgrounds, 4056 N. Govt. Way in Coeur d'Alene.
It's a free, family-oriented event that aims to strengthen community partnerships.
The evening lineup includes K9 demonstrations, Jaws of Life rescue exercises, a SWAT and fire combat challenge, a dunk tank, a pizza-eating contest, live music, face-painting, vendor and resource booths, and more.
The Taste of Rathdrum is happening Aug. 8 from noon to 9:30 p.m. at Majestic Park, 5750 W. Majestic Ave. The event is free for all ages and is full of flavor and fun.
Food vendors, beer gardens with local microbrews, a cornhole tournament, a car cruise and live music by various artists on several stages are all part of the festivities.
The Kelly Hughes Band will perform high-energy country favorites on the main stage from 6:30 to 9 p.m.
