The Coeur d’Alene City Council will meet tonight to consider two resolutions related to wells in Coeur d’Alene, among other items.

The council will vote to approve the real estate purchase and sale agreement for property around the Locust Well.

The Coeur d’Alene School District is the landowner and, depending on approval, is looking to receive $185,000 from the purchase. Of that, $155,000 in Water Department Capital Fee Funds was allocated for the purchase, as well as the swap of a Parks Department owned food trailer valued at $30,000.

The council will also vote to authorize suitability tests for a future well at 632 E. Borah Ave. If the site is deemed suitable, the council will consider approving the purchase of the property from the district for $195,000.

The council is scheduled to meet at 6 p.m. in the Coeur d'Alene Public Library Community Room.
