Sandpoint High rising junior Daniel Holman went 2-for-4 with an RBI single during the Sasquatch's five-run fifth inning while fellow Sandpoint High rising junior Chase Miller chipped in a pair of singles of his own in the contest.

Sandpoint High rising freshman Trevor Tadic had a two-run single and Priest River High rising senior Broden Collins struck out four batters over five innings on the mound.

BOISE — Sandpoint High rising junior Daniel Holman hit an RBI double, Priest River High rising senior Broden Collins also doubled, as the Sasquatch were defeated by Idaho Show 17U of Nampa in their second game of the Boise Summer Kickoff tournament on Saturday at Bishop Kelly High.

Sandpoint High rising senior Andrew Aexel contributed an RBI single and Sandpoint High rising freshman Trevor Tadic tossed two scoreless innings in relief for the Sasquatch, which drew 10 walks but were outhit by a 10-4 margin.

On the rubber, Sandpoint High rising senior Andrew Aexel recorded three strikeouts over 3.1 innings of work.

BOISE — Sandpoint High rising sophomore Erik Hansen went 2-for-3 with two runs scored and an RBI double, Sandpoint High rising senior Carson Resso smashed a two-run double of his own, as the Sasquatch took down the Wildcats in five innings during their final game of the Boise Summer Kickoff tournament on Sunday at Bishop Kelly High.

Sandpoint High rising freshman Trevor Tadic registered an RBI single and two RBIs in total while Sandpoint High rising senior Austyn Young recorded two singles for the Sasquatch, which used a four-run second inning and six-run fifth inning to beat the Wildcats.

Landon Day had an RBI single and two RBIs as well as the Sasquatch racked up 10 hits and six walks at the plate. In addition, the Sandpoint High rising senior struck out three batters over 3.1 innings on the mound.

Up next, the Sasquatch will head to the Whitworth Prospect Series tournament from June 5-7. They'll take on the Spokane Rawlings Tigers, Kalispell Sluggers, and Spokane Expos in addition to another team yet to be determined.
