ATHLETE OF THE WEEK: Pepper Rickert, Sandpoint Tennis

This week's Athlete of the Week is Pepper Rickert of Sandpoint Tennis.

A junior, Pepper rolled to her third consecutive 5A State Championship title in girls singles at the Boise Racquet and Swim Club earlier this month. Rickert, who finished the season with a record of 25-0 to improve to 73-0 on her career, won three matches in a row by scores of 6-0, 6-0, before defeating Brinley Nelson of Hillcrest in the championship match for the third straight year by a score 6-1, 6-1.
