Team ropers from across Montana and the Northwest will gather at Meadow Creek Arena in Bigfork on July 11 and 12 as the arena hosts its first Wrangler Team Roping Championships affiliate event.
The two-day event will feature multiple roping divisions, giving competitors of all skill levels an opportunity to compete for championship prizes, including saddles, buckles and rifles. As an official affiliate event, participants will also have the opportunity to earn points and qualify for Wrangler Team Roping Championships finals.
Hosted by the Sneed family at Meadow Creek Arena, the event is expected to bring people from throughout the region to Bigfork for a weekend celebrating western heritage, horsemanship and community.
“We are excited to bring a Wrangler-affiliated event to the Flathead Valley,” said event organizer Carson Sneed. “Our goal is to provide a first-class roping while showcasing the western lifestyle and hospitality that make Montana special.”
Competition begins each day at 9 a.m., with contestant check-in and entries opening at 8 a.m. WTRC membership and dress code requirements will be in effect.
Spectators are welcome and encouraged to attend.
