The article "Sandpoint to launch paid parking July 1" incorrectly stated that there was a $5 hourly maximum overstay penalty for those in the timed parking zones. It should have stated there is an option for parkers to extend their time for a fee, which will not exceed $5 an hour, to overstay in the two-hour zones. We regret the error.
