As the United States of America celebrates the 250th Anniversary of the signing of the Declaration of Independence, marking America’s Semiquincentennial, we have a unique opportunity to reflect upon our beginnings as a nation.

The “Moments That Made US” exhibit (18 panels) illustrates the history and photographs of the Kootenai Tribe of Idaho, the United States of America, State of Idaho, and Boundary County.

Additional features on display during the exhibit: 4th Grade Land Surveying Art; US Flag flown over the Capitol in Washington, D.C.; Quilt and Wall Hanging by 9B Quilters; Digital Frame with Music and Reading of the Declaration of Independence by John F. Kennedy.

“Moments That Made US” will be on display in the Boundary County Museum - June 4, 2026 through August 29, 2026. Location: 7229 Main Street, Bonners Ferry, Idaho; Museum Hours: Thursday - Saturday 10:00am - 3:00pm.
