Jeanette Joslin, 60
Coeur d'Alene Press | UPDATED 1 week, 3 days AGO
Jeanette (“Kim”) was born in Bakersfield, Calif., on April 26, 1966, to Freda Mae Joseph and John Lawrance Joslin. She was the youngest of 12 siblings and grew up in Crescent Mills and Oroville, Calif.
Kim fondly recalled long drives into the mountains with her mom, memories of spending time in the Genesee Valley with her grandparents, and family bear dances and large family reunions. She loved nature, animals, music, art, dancing and Maidu culture. Kim’s passion was connecting with and helping others improve their quality of life, especially elderly and disabled patients. She studied nutrition at Feather River College and worked as a Certified Nursing Assistant for many years.
In 1992, she put down roots in Idaho to raise her family and then moved to Northeastern Washington to be closer to her beloved kids and grandkids as they pursued their lives, passions and careers. She celebrated her family’s successes and made sure every one of her children and grandchildren felt loved.
Kim is survived by Dawn and Joe McDevitt of Idaho and their children, Hannah and Jeremy; Monique Wynecoop of Washington and her children, Clayton, Oceana and River; Dustin Crumb of Montana; and Leah Waits of Idaho.
A celebration of life will take place at noon Tuesday, June 16, 2026, at The Vine Church, 9140 N. Reed Road, Hayden, ID 83835. Yates Funeral Home has been entrusted with the final arrangements. You may sign Kim’s guestbook at www.yatesfuneralhomes.com.
