LEWISTON — Bonners Ferry High rising sophomore Brent Worley and Priest River High rising junior Karsen Garvin both singled as the Lakers dropped the first game of a Junior B Division American Legion doubleheader to the Bucs on Sunday at Church Field.
Garrett Crosby was 2-for-3 with three RBIs and struck out two batters across three two-hit innings on the mound for Lewis-Clark, which scored 18 runs in the first two innings.

LEWISTON — Bonners Ferry High rising sophomore Brent Worley produced North Idaho's lone hit as the Lakers were swept by the Bucs as game two of Sunday's Junior B Division American Legion doubleheader concluded at Church Field.
Conrad Kress was 2-for-3 with three RBIs and fired in five strikeouts over three innings on the rubber for Lewis-Clark, which improved to 7-1 on the season with the win.

SANDPOINT — Kyler Wood recorded an RBI single, Drake Burk and Cy Marshall hit singles of their own, as the Lakers fell to the Eagles of Nine Mile Falls, Wash. in a non-league American Legion contest held Monday at War Memorial Field.
On the mound, Wyatt Buday registered four strikeouts across two innings for North Idaho, which scored at least one run in four different innings.
Jackson Gardella went for 5-for-6 with five runs scored, six RBIs, three doubles, and a home run for Lakeside, which is now 2-0 on the season after a 13-12 defeat of the Northeast 49ers in their opener on Friday.
North Idaho (2-3) will look to get back on track when they travel to Prairie of Post Falls on Friday for another Junior B Division American Legion twinbill.
