The Pearl Theater has always been the venue to see concerts and plays in Bonners Ferry, but the theater is constantly expanding its programming to include a wider variety of events. Events offered at the Pearl now include groups, workshops, a drum circle, karaoke, and much more.
Friday, June 5 — 18-plus Karaoke, 7 p.m.
Karaoke for ages 18 and above. This is a free event. Beer and cocktails will be available for purchase.
Wednesday, June 10 — Country Partner Dance, 6-8 p.m.
The Country Partner Dance series kicked off May 13 with beginner country swing and offers a fun night out for couples, friends and anyone looking to try something new in Bonners Ferry’s local dance scene. The series continues until July 24.
Tickets are $15 and available at the door.
Friday, June 12 — Jym Elders: Mentalist, 7-10 p.m.
Jym Elders has 20 years of experience, bringing his interactive mind-reading spectacular to audiences from New York to Los Angeles and everywhere in between.

Thursday, June 18 — Book Talk, 6-8 p.m.
No assigned reading. Come and chat about books. Light refreshments and wine served. Books are available for sharing.
Thursday, June 25 — Performers Circle, 6 p.m.
Performers Circle is the Pearl's longest running event. Bring a song or spoken word to the circle or come to enjoy a night of artistic collaboration. Doors open at 5:30 p.m. This is a free event.
Friday, June 13 — Dirty Cello, 7 p.m.
From Iceland to Italy, and all over the U.S., San Francisco-based band Dirty Cello brings the world a high energy and unique spin on blues, rock, and Americana music. With wild vocals, and world class cello playing, the group is led by crossover cellist, Rebecca Roudman.
Doors open at 6:30 p.m. Tickets are $20 in advance and $25 at the door. More information and tickets are available at www.thehistoricpearltheater.org.
Built in 1894, the Pearl Theater was originally the first Catholic church in Bonners Ferry. The historic building is now a theater that is home to a variety of performances, arts and other events, in the community.
The Pearl Theater, Inc. is a nonprofit 501(c)3 organization founded in 2012 with the goal of providing quality performing arts in an intimate historic downtown art house. The Pearl Theater’s objective as a nonprofit is to foster and develop the artistic talents and skills of community members of all ages, to serve as an outreach to encourage and facilitate social activities, and to nurture excellence in the performing arts through the presentation of performing artists from the local area as well as national and international arenas.
The theater is available for rent for personal and public events.
The Pearl Theater is located at 7160 Ash St in Bonners Ferry.
