A Eureka man, Joshua D. Hull, was sentenced to serve time in the Montana State Prison after he pleaded guilty to two felony counts of criminal endangerment.

Hull received a pair of 10-year terms, with five years suspended on each, from judge Matt Cuffe, at a June 1 sentencing hearing in Lincoln County District Court.

The sentences will be served concurrently. Hull received credit for 412 days served. He was also ordered to pay $5,627 in restitution to the victims.

Hull initially pleaded not guilty May 5, 2025, to charges of assault and theft after an incident involving coworkers at the 4-Corners Restaurant and Casino in April 2025. But he agreed to plead guilty March 31 to criminal endangerment in exchange for the dismissal of assault with a weapon, theft and assault charges.

Lincoln County deputies responded to a residence for a reported man shooting a gun in the air and then later at people. After arriving, they came across one victim who had visible injuries to his face, mouth and head.

According to court documents, the injured victim had brought home two female victims from the bar after mourning a friend's passing. After they went to bed, Hull and another man, both coworkers of the alleged victims, arrived at the residence and let themselves into the house.

Despite being told to leave, Hull instead pulled a gun. One of the victims went to get a gun from a vehicle. At that point, Hull allegedly discharged his gun, and the victim believed it was aimed at him.

The victim told him to drop the gun when Andre Holder allegedly knocked him to the ground and then took the gun belonging to the victim.

During this scuffle, a second victim was also pushed to the ground but wasn’t hurt.

Another person in the household, a minor, exited the house with a gun and told Hull and Holder to leave. Both got in their vehicle and fled the scene in gold sedan.

Deputies observed two bullet casings that appeared to back up this story.

Holder faced misdemeanor assault and theft charges in Justice Court. He pleaded guilty to assault in August 2025 and the theft charge was dismissed.
