FOL book sale set

SANDPOINT — The birds and bees are singing and buzzing with activity as June arrives, bringing the tease of hot summer amid the cool days of spring. 

The month's arrival also means the Sandpoint Friends of the Library's used book sale will be held Saturday, June 6. At this month's sale will be displays celebrating summer sports and enticing reads for beaches or patios. 

Since East Bonner County District libraries are closed July 4, the FOL sale will feature an early display celebrating the Fourth of July and America's 250th birthday. 

The monthly sale will be held at the Sandpoint Library, 1407 Cedar St., from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.
