COEUR d’ALENE — Blake Foulk (Coeur d’Alene High) drove in three runs, two on a first-inning single, and four pitchers combined on a no-hitter as USA Prime Inland Northwest 18U beat the Coeur d’Alene Lumbermen AA team 14-0 on Thursday at Thorco Field.
Leyton Hurley, DeSean Dunbar, Tallyn Oakshott and Bam Fenter (Coeur d’Alene) teamed for the no-no, totaling 13 strikeouts and seven walks.
Dylan Cook (Coeur d’Alene) went 2 for 3 with two RBIs and two runs scored for USA Prime, and Fenter also knocked in two.
Coeur d’Alene pitchers walked 15 and struck out seven.
The Lums (3-2) return to action Monday at home with a North Idaho League doubleheader vs. Lewis-Clark at Thorco Field.
