Post Falls plans Evergreen Cemetery cleanup

POST FALLS — Evergreen Cemetery cleanup begins Wednesday. 

Cemetery staff will begin removing Memorial Day flowers and any non-conforming decorations that are not in standard flower containers. Seasonal decorations and temporary displays that may pose maintenance issues will also be removed and discarded in accordance with the city’s cemetery regulations.

Glass, ceramics and other breakable items are not allowed in the cemetery.

Lot owners with questions or who need clarification about non-conforming decorations are encouraged to contact the cemetery division at 208-777-4478. 

Evergreen Cemetery, at 2834 N. Spokane St., is open 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.
