Local watch: June 7, 2026

Kyle Manzardo, the former Lake City High and Washington State star, hit a RBI double with two outs in the top of the fifth inning for the Cleveland Guardians in a 6-0 win over the Texas Rangers on Saturday in Arlington, Texas.

Manzardo, who walked twice in the game, caught a line drive by Corey Seager at first base and doubled off Kyle Higashioka to end the bottom of the sixth.

Manzardo now has 21 RBIs in 57 games this season.
