Ira Andrew Troyer

Ira Andrew Troyer passed away peacefully on May 21, 2026.
He was born July 22, 1945 to Ivan and Rose Troyer in Vancouver, Washington.
The family moved to Libby when Ira was 8 years old. Ira married his high school sweetheart Doris Jean Griffey in 1965, they had three children. Ira worked at the W.R. Grace mine for 30 years and then several other jobs in Libby until he retired in 2010.
Ira moved to Kalispell in 2016 after the passing of his daughter Dara Murray. Ira loved spending time with his family, he enjoyed hunting, fishing, camping and anything to do with the outdoors.
He is survived by his two sons, Todd and Tanya Troyer of Kalispell and Jess and Tracy Troyer of Ferndale, Washington, as well as two siblings, several grandchildren and great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
He will be dearly missed. The family will have a private gathering later this month.
