LEGION BASEBALL: Lums swept by Lewis-Clark

COEUR d’ALENE — The visiting Lewis-Clark Twins 10-runned the Coeur d’Alene Lumbermen twice Monday in class AA North Idaho League play, 11-1 and 17-5 at Thorco Field. 

Lewis-Clark (3-0, 2-0 NIL) scored 10 runs in the fifth inning to break open the second game. 

Justin Fagan and Colton Nordman had two hits each in the first game for Coeur d’Alene (3-4, 1-2 NIL). 

Coeur d’Alene returns to action Thursday at the Palouse Summer Series, facing the Palouse Patriots AA (17U) team at 3 p.m. at Washington State’s Bailey-Brayton Field in Pullman.

POST FALLS — Kasen Noffke struck out four over three innings, and Alec Finn pitched two scoreless innings as the Cardinals AA team beat the Spokane Bandits AAA team at Brett James Memorial Field. 

Bandits pitchers walked 17 and hit five. 

Prairie (6-3) returns to action Friday vs. Rock Creek Select Upperclass 18U at Columbia Basin College in Pasco, Wash.
