All-state softball, baseball announced

Senior Kylie Gjesdal-Davis led a trio of all-state selections for the Columbia Falls Wildkats as teams were announced Thursday.

Joining Kjesdal-Davis was Onnikka Lawrence and Katie Bulawsky, the trio were also first-team all-Northwest A. Bella Mann and Alexa Friske earned second-team all-conference honors with Chevelle Bedford being an honorable mention.

In baseball, Nico Young and Jett Pitts were named all-state and first team all-conference.

Jory Hill and Jaxson Cadwell were second team all-conference and Zeke Dunn and Tristan Victor were honorable mentions.

The girls softball team took fourth at state while the boys went 1-2 and lost a nail biter to Dillon in the semis at the state tournament.
