Meine, a recent graduate, won the 300-meter hurdles in 43.92 seconds at the state 4A track and field meet on May 16 at Middleton High. Meine was also part of the school’s winning 4x400 relay team in 3 minutes, 59.35 seconds, leading the Panthers to a runner-up team finish. “She focused on speed and speed endurance,” Coeur d’Alene Charter coach Chris Patterson said. “She just focused on being consistent in her technique.”
