Gregg Alan Jones, 69, passed away on May 29, at Mayo Methodist Hospital in Rochester, Minnesota.

Gregg was born August 2,1956 in Kalispell, to Edward and Donna Jones. He graduated from Columbia Falls High School in 1974 and began his career with Anaconda Aluminum Company on his 18th birthday.  He worked there for 35 years, finishing his career with CFAC. In August 1977, Gregg married Pamela Endreson, and together they built a life centered on family, faith, and outdoors. In 2010, Gregg joined BNSF Railway as a train conductor, working out of Sheridan, Wyoming and LaCrosse, Wisconsin. He retired in July 2021 and returned home to the Flathead Valley. Gregg always looked forward to spending his days off in the outdoors. He loved hunting, fishing, and camping, and cherished time spent with family and friends.  One of the highlights of his later years was a yearly fishing trip to Lake Cascade, Idaho.  Gregg was a devoted husband, father, grandfather, brother and friend. He will be remembered for the many memories he created with those he loved.

Gregg is survived by his wife Pamela; sons Mackenzie (Bailey) Jones, and Morgan (Kiralee) Jones; brother, Mike (Pati) Jones; his sisters, Cathy Jones, Debbie (Steve) Melby, and Janice Jones.  

He was deeply loved and will be greatly missed.

A service will be held at The Church at Creston on June 15, at 10:00 a.m. A coffee and cookie reception will follow the service.
