The city of Hayden will host town halls Thursday and Saturday to gather public input regarding the level of law enforcement services needed in the community.

In April, the city partnered with Matrix Consulting Group to conduct an independent and objective evaluation of current and future law enforcement service delivery options.

The Law Enforcement Strategic Planning Study will examine existing service levels, organizational structure, staffing needs, operational requirements, community expectations and both short- and long-term costs. Through operational analysis, stakeholder engagement and financial modeling, the study will provide a comprehensive assessment of the service, organizational and financial impacts of various law enforcement service delivery models.

During the open houses, Matrix Consulting Group will collect feedback from attendees related to law enforcement services in Hayden.

For those unable to attend, an online survey can be found on the city of Hayden's website.
