SHS senior wins Bonner County Democratic Central Committee scholarship

Bonner County Democrats’ Scholarship Committee Chair Sylvia Humes presents Sandpoint High School senior Hope Barnes with a $500 scholarship. Barnes served as the valedictorian at SHS graduation and said she intends to become a doctor. In addition to her academic excellence, Barnes racked up nearly 100 hours of community service, which helped her earn the scholarship.
