Canopy Village Foundation welcomes new director

Canopy Village Foundation announced Kristina Kenny as its new foundation director. 

"A passionate entrepreneur, nonprofit leader, and community advocate, Kenny brings a unique blend of business innovation, fundraising expertise, strategic leadership, and community engagement to the organization." a press release said.

With more than a decade of leadership experience spanning nonprofit development, education, consulting and business ownership, Kenny has built a reputation for bringing innovative ideas to life while helping organizations achieve sustainable growth and lasting impact.

Most recently, she founded and led Next Level Consulting, where she coached and advised nonprofits, schools and community organizations on strategic planning, fundraising, leadership development and organizational growth.

"Kristina brings an incredible combination of vision, energy and heart to Canopy Village Foundation," said Marie Nail. "Her entrepreneurial mindset, passion for serving others, and proven ability to build relationships and secure resources will help advance our mission and expand our impact throughout the community."

Throughout her career, Kenny has demonstrated exceptional success in fundraising and development, securing more than $3.5 million in grant funding, raising over $3 million through capital campaigns and generating more than $1 million through fundraising events, the release said. Her experience includes managing donor portfolios, strengthening community partnerships and leading strategic initiatives that create measurable outcomes.

As foundation director, Kenny will oversee fundraising strategy, donor engagement, community partnerships, marketing and brand development, grant acquisition and long-term sustainability initiatives.
