Those in attendance are encouraged to wear purple, Haines' favorite color, in her memory.
Boise State softball coach Shults resigns
Justin Shults has resigned after five seasons as Boise State softball coach to become associate head coach at Arkansas, BSU athletic director Jeramiah Dickey said.
Shults posted a 167-102 record at Boise State, and his .621 winning percentage is the best in program history.
Boise State tied the school record with 40 victories in 2022 in Shults’s first year and earned the highest ranking in school history at No. 23.
The Broncos captured the Mountain West regular season title in 2023 and finished runner-up in the 2024 MW Championship.
Terra McGowan, an assistant under Shults for two seasons, has been named interim head coach.
