WHITE PELICANS ARRIVE

White pelicans gather in Moses Lake as viewed from McCosh Park. They are state-endangered in Washington (listed in 1981) but protected under the Migratory Bird Treaty Act.

Friday: Sunny, high near 82 and a light west wind. Mostly clear overnight, low around 52, gusty winds up to 23 miles per hour.
Saturday: Sunny, high near 84. Clear overnight, low around 57.
Sunday: Sunny, high near 88. Mostly clear overnight, low around 59.
Monday: Partly cloudy, high near 94. Overnight, partly cloudy, low around 65.
Tuesday: Mostly sunny and hot, high near 99. Mostly clear and breezy overnight, low about 62.
Wednesday: Sunny, high near 91.
