Jacquelyn Jackson, 93

Jackie was born Dec. 5, 1932, to John and Myra Dinsmore. She passed June 6, 2026.

Jackie was raised by her mother and stepfather Walter Kalben in the San Diego area. She was mom to sons Mark Jepson and W. Michael Jepson.

Jackie served in the U.S. Air Force and was later a nurse’s aide and CNA in the Sandpoint, Idaho, area. She loved animals, especially horses. She enjoyed being outside going on trail rides with friends. She loved driving to Arizona for the winters, camping along the way. She was a believer and looked forward to the second coming of her Lord.

She spent her last years living at Alpine Vista Senior Apartments in Sandpoint and enjoyed the community of residents and staff there. She was feisty until the end.

Jackie was preceded in death by her parents, Walt and Myra; and son Mark. She is survived by son Mike (Rhonda) of Sagle, Idaho; siblings Kay McKenna of McCall, Idaho, and Corky (Gail) Kalben of Sagle, Idaho; two grandsons; five great-grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.
