AA Lakers hold off Kennewick Thursday

PULLMAN, Wash. — Teagan Dixon doubled and Tait Orme drove in a pair of runs as the AA Lakers started their weekend with a win over Kennewick.
The Phantoms took a 4-1 lead after the top of the second, but Kalispell quickly responded as Orme’s two run single made it a 4-3 game.
Next inning, Miles Arrowsmith singled to tie the game before Carter Wigginton gave Kalispell its first lead on an RBI single. Hunter Fann added another run with a hit to center field that scored Dillon Wink.
Kennewick plated one in the fourth, but never found the tying run.
Max Schara went all seven innings for the Lakers, allowing five runs on five hits and striking out four.
