Glenn James Fillion, 76, of Pearland, Texas, passed away peacefully May 20, 2026, surrounded by family.

Glenn built a full and adventurous life defined by resilience, curiosity and unwavering devotion to those he loved. His adventurous spirit carried him across many states and around the world before he concluded a 30-year career with Shell Oil Co. in China.

Though he often shared stories of his travels, the mountains, rivers and lakes of Idaho remained home in his heart. More than any place he called home, it was his family who defined the life he treasured most.

Glenn is survived by his beloved wife of 50 years, Annette “Eddings” Fillion; his children, Christopher Fillion and Leah Shah; daughter-in-law Brandee Spratley and son-in-law Shail Shah; and his cherished grandchildren, Sai and Maya, who lovingly knew him as “Papadoodle,” a name he wore with immense pride and affection.

He is also survived by his sisters, Pearl, Marie, Donna and Tina, along with many nieces, nephews, cousins, extended family members and dear friends whose lives he touched throughout the years. He was preceded in death by his brother, Bob, and his parents, Ronald and Eveline Fillion.

Family and friends are invited to join in honoring Glenn and sharing memories of a life well lived. A funeral service celebrating Glenn’s life will be held Thursday, July 9, 2026, at noon at St. Thomas the Apostle Catholic Church, 919 E. Indiana Ave., Coeur d’Alene, ID 83814.

A gathering will immediately follow the service at a location nearby. Additional details will be shared at the service and updated on everloved.com.

Your presence and support mean the most. For those who wish to honor Glenn's memory, memorial donations may be made to the National Parks Foundation.
