Cranbrook takes doubleheader from Twins

CRANBROOK, Alberta — Clark Reimer knocked five homers and drove in 16 runs as the Cranbrook Bandits took a pair of wins from the Glacier Twins Saturday in Legion baseball.
Reimer had two long balls and six RBIs in the Bandits’ 15-0 win in game one.
His first inning double helped Cranbrook to a 3-0 lead, in the second he knocked his first big fly, a 2-run shot to right field.
He capped off the game with his second two-run blast to right. The game ended after five innings due to the run rule.
In game two, Reimer went 4-for-4 with 10 RBIs.
Glacier took an early lead, thanks in part to an RBI single from Treyson Murphy, 3-0.
Reimer quickly gave the Bandits the lead with a grand slam after three walks.
Cranbrook totaled 10 runs in the first inning to take control of the game.
Glacier took advantage of four walks and an error to plate four in the fifth and get back within 10, but the game ended due to the run rule.
Glacier is back in action against the Kalispell A Lakers Monday at 5 p.m.
