Loggers split with Mavericks

MISSOULA — Kale Riddle drove in three runs and the Libby Loggers took the second game of a doubleheader against the Missoula A Mavericks Saturday in Legion baseball. 


Bransen Holzer added two RBIs in a 3-for four outing as Libby took game two 14-7. Missoula won 13-3 in the first game. 


Elijah Foulke hit a two-run double for the Loggers. 


James Woody went 3 2-3 innings on the mound, allowing five runs on one hit. He fanned four. 


In game one, Missoula capitalized on six extra base hits, including two doubles from Uriah Johnson. 


Johnson drove in four runs, while Emery Hampson had two triples and knocked in two runs. 


Ian Thom had a double for the Loggers, who were held to three runs on three hits. 


Libby now heads to Cranbrook for a Sunday doubleheader against the Bandits starting at 1 p.m.
