Law roundup: Woman catches and takes home rooster

A rooster was reportedly found strutting near some purple flower bushes and someone thought it had been dumped there. A woman allegedly caught the rooster in a blanket to take it home.
Someone allegedly saw a woman slumped over the wheel of a blue Honda Accord, passed out, at a traffic light and knocked on her window. She drove away headed westbound on Reserve Drive.
A woman reportedly told a dispatcher that she was wrongfully fired and that it was a “life or death emergency” because she needed the job and the manager wouldn’t talk to her about what was happening. The manager allegedly told an officer that she got into an argument with another employee and was asked to leave and that she was going to be fired and if she went on the property, she would be considered to be trespassing.
Teens were reportedly seen drinking alcohol by the mall.
Officers stopped to talk to pedestrians who were doing geocaching.
A building manager complained about a person sleeping in a white Ford crew cab pickup in the auxiliary parking lot and wanted officers to kick him off the property, noting that it wasn’t the first time people had slept there in addition to dumping their garbage.
