Law roundup: Kalispell resident can smell that smell

A woman complained about an unbearable smell wafting from a nearby house that had chickens. She raised a stink about it with the Kalispell Police Department.
A stray cat was locked in someone’s garage for four days and damaged their car.
Someone used the southwest corner of a building as their personal dumping ground, littering half a recliner in a waterfowl area. A security employee told officers they saw a white Dodge Caravan and a gray SUV.
Someone reported a woman in a pickup who was only wearing a bra and was banging her head into the backseat with some type of yellow substance around her. She was transported to the hospital with officers noting that she needed medical care beyond what law enforcement could provide.
Someone reportedly broke all the windows of a business.
A tenant allegedly left a threatening note with another tenant. The property manager wanted officers to read it.
A parked gray Jeep SUV reportedly hadn’t moved since March 16 and a notice to move it stickered to the vehicle had been peeled off. A ticket was issued and a tow truck was dispatched when the registered owner didn’t answer an officer’s call.
