This week's Poster Player of the Week, presented by Corwin Motors, goes to Bigfork's Tamret Savik.

Savik put together one of the most impressive performances of the state track and field championships, helping lead the Vikings to a runner-up finish at the Class A meet in Laurel.

The standout senior shattered a 48-year-old Class A state record in the triple jump with a personal-best leap of 48 feet, 4 inches. The previous record had stood since 1978.

Savik wasn't done there. He also claimed a state championship in the high jump with a personal-best clearance of 6 feet, 6 inches and added a runner-up finish in the long jump to cap off an incredible weekend.
