ATHLETE OF THE WEEK: Kordale Burt, North Idaho Lakers

This week's Athlete of the Week is Kordale Burt of the North Idaho Lakers 16U team.

A Bonners Ferry High rising senior, Kordale Burt, was a force to be reckoned with at the Battle at the Beach tournament last week, totaling six hits to help North Idaho finish third out of five teams. Of those six hits, three were doubles, propelling the Lakers' offense in several close games on Saturday and Sunday. Burt knocked in three RBIs and was scored three times, accounting for six of the Lakers' 23 runs across the four-game stretch.
