Plains Farmers Market has a new home thanks to a donation made by MT West Dentist owners Blake and Dana Sherwood.

The Cancer Network of Sanders County was selling raffle tickets. Three items were being raffled off: a log truck of firewood, 20 yards of gravel and a handmade quilt. The drawing will be held at the Johnson Hardware store in Noxon Oct. 10.
Another fundraising event was selling dirty soda drinks to raise money to send kids to the Grizzly Football Camp in Missoula.
Opening night offered a wide variety of goods, baked goods, handmade soaps, planters, face painting and local author Charolette Noble.
The Plains Farmers Market will be held every Friday evening from 4 to 6 p.m. at MT West Dental park, continuing through mid-October weather permitting.
Administrators for the fourth year are Chuck Haugen and Linda Wilson.
