May 30

The caller thought it was weird there was a truck and trailer backed into the woods with no power or septic on State Park Road. The property owners reportedly put the camper on the property to use for the summer, but no one’s been seen around it.

There is a reportedly ongoing issue with dogs chasing people on Kalispell Avenue.

A cell phone was found on the sidewalk near East Second Street.

Someone on Lacy Lane heard a male yelling and an engine revving for about 20 minutes.

An apparently drunk driver of a Toyota was seen swerving and passing on a hill on Highway 93 West. He was driving 80 mph, then 10 mph, heading into Whitefish.

Someone on Baker Avenue was awakened by something crashing around in the backyard. It might have been a critter.

June 5

A female in a black shirt was cursing and yelling at someone in a business on Highway 93.

A female was urinating in public on East First Street.

A female was lying on the ground near Central Avenue a little past midnight.

The caller reported that a trucker hit a fire hydrant on Baker Avenue.

The male asleep in a chair in front of a business on East Second Street required a welfare check. He was found to be a little intoxicated and was walking shortly thereafter.

A pedestrian was cited for open container.

Someone found a wallet on the river trail and wanted to turn it over to the police.

The caller reported seeing someone wearing a white sweatshirt standing in the middle of the road on Baker Avenue, but they might have been in the bike lane.

An unruly man needed to be escorted off the property at the train depot.

It was deemed suspicious that a pickup truck sits with its lights on for 45 minutes on Labrie Drive and has done so for a few weeks.

A short male with a mullet was seen making a U-turn illegally on Highway 40. He was also seen stumbling when he left a store before speeding out of the parking lot.
