PRAYER: Give blessings in public
Coeur d'Alene Press | UPDATED 1 week, 5 days AGO
This letter is a suggestion for your Christian readers. When going out to eat, let your waiter or waitress know that you say a blessing over your food and ask is there anything you can pray for them about. I started doing this several years ago and 90% of them have a request for themselves, family or a friend. The other 10% usually say nothing at this time but thank you for asking. I don’t tell you this to pat myself on the back, but rather it’s to bless someone and you in return are blessed. The best time to ask is right after they take your drink order. And if you don’t pray and give thanks for the food you’re blessed with it’s time to start.
And please have a happy and safe Fourth of July and give thanks for the country we live in, especially North Idaho, even though there are flaws and dissension in the USA.
