West, a junior from Coeur d'Alene High, was named to the College Sports Communicators Academic All-District team, the school announced on Tuesday. To be eligible, student-athletes must be at least a sophomore and have at least a 3.50 cumulative grade point average. Golfers must be in the lineup for 70% of a school's team scoring events, or in the lineup at the conference championship tournament. West earned All-Cascade Conference honors for the first time in his career and Academic All-District for the second time. He earned his first win at the college level to close out the regular season and shot under-par five times. West tied for eighth at the CCC Championships and was seventh in the conference with a 72.4 scoring average.
Zoe Kempton

Kempton, a junior from Post Falls High, was recognized by the College Sports Communicators to the Academic All-District team. It is the second time she has received the honor. Kempton maintains a 3.82 grade point average as a kinesiology major with an emphasis in exercise science. Dance athletes must participate in 75% of a team's total competitions.
