Bonners Ferry city pool opens for the summer season

The Bonners Ferry city swimming pool, 7040 Helena St., is now open for the summer season. 

The pool offers a variety of swimming opportunities throughout the week, including lap swim, swim lessons, open swim and family swim sessions. 

Weekday hours begin with lap swim from 8 to 9 a.m., followed by swim lessons from 9 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Afternoon lap swim is available from 12:30 to 1:30 p.m., with open swim from 1:30 to 5 p.m. Family swim is offered from 5:15 to 6:30 p.m., Monday through Friday. 

Special needs swim lessons will coincide with afternoon lap swim from July 6 through July 17. 

Weekend hours include adult lap swim from noon to 1 p.m., open swim from 1:15 to 5 p.m., and family swim from 5:15 to 6:30 p.m.
