Red Sox sweep Glacier Twins in doubleheader

WHITEFISH — Boedy Tadvick had four hits and drove in two runs as the Bitterroot Red Sox swept a doubleheader over the Glacier Twins Wednesday.
Tadvick went 3-for-4 with two RBIs in the Red Sox’s (12-0) opening 10-1 victory.
Cash Lawrence also drove in a pair of runs and scored twice on a 2-for-4 performance.
Jude Widmer tossed four no-hit innings and struck out five. Jackson Lubke added 1 1-3 innings of no-hit relief.
Dawson Juntenen picked up the lone hit for the Twins (1-9).
In game two, Bridger Huddleston went 3-for-3 with an RBI and three runs scored to lead a 10-0 Red Sox victory.
Lawrence added two more RBIs for Bitterroot as the game ended after five innings due to the run rule.
Kiernan RK had the only hit for Glacier in the second game.
Chase Wagner went all five innings and allowed just the one hit while fanning four batters.
The Twins next have a home doubleheader against Cranbrook Bandits Sunday at 1 p.m.
