Coeur d'Alene Press | UPDATED 1 week AGO
Coeur d’Alene High junior pitcher/infielder Jenna Davenport was named to the 6A first team as the All-Idaho softball teams were announced by the Idaho Statesman newspaper of Boise.
Davenport, who has verbally committed to NCAA Division II Biola University in La Mirada, Calif., was 10-2 in the circle with a 2.62 ERA. She also hit .544 with seven homers and 35 RBIs.
Davenport was also a first-team selection last year.
Two Post Falls Trojans — senior catcher/utility McKenna Zimmerman and junior shortstop/catcher Kulani Peahu — were named to the 6A second team.
In 5A, Lakeland senior third baseman/first baseman Kiersten Drake was named to the second team.
In 3A, Kellogg sophomore third baseman/center fielder Malena Munoz and Grangeville senior third baseman/catcher Caryss Barger were named to the first team.
Munos batted .577 for the Wildcats with 20 RBIs, and also stole 13 bases.
Kellogg senior pitcher/first baseman Joci Lee and Grangeville sophomore center fielder/utility Maddison Harris were named to the 3A second team.
Coaches vote for the all-state teams in their classification. The Statesman publishes the results.
