Christian Center School received a $100,000 grant from RETOVA in support of The Legacy Project, the school’s capital campaign to build a new multi-use gymnasium.

The Legacy Project represents an investment in future generations, a press release said. The planned collegiate-style, dual-court facility will serve as a hub for athletics, physical education, school events, chapels, performances, student activities and community gatherings.

RETOVA’s mission is to “inspire hope for our community and North Idaho’s future” through charitable investments in education, affordable housing, outdoor recreation access, therapeutic facilities, religious initiatives and veterans programs, a press release said.

“This grant represents more than financial support — it is an investment in students and in the future of our community,” said Annie Marshall, Christian Center School head of school. “We are incredibly grateful for RETOVA’s partnership and belief in the vision of what this project will mean for current and future generations of students.”

Since 1979, Christian Center School has served families throughout North Idaho by providing Christ-centered education. The Legacy Project will help position the school for continued growth while strengthening its mission for decades to come.

The Legacy Project is now more than 88% funded, with $1,118,655 remaining to reach its construction goal.

“We continue to be encouraged by the incredible support from individuals, families, businesses and community partners who have embraced this vision,” said Robyn Clinton, advancement director for The Legacy Project.
